Dam Liner Investigation

Voss Labs conducted a condition assessment of the concrete and the protective shotcrete overlay on the upstream face of the Dam. Voss labs engineers performed all work from ropes to access the upstream face from the dam’s crest down to the water line.

 

Examination methods including visual inspections, hammer sounding, and surface-penetrating radar scanning.

 

Additionally, Voss Labs carried out anchorage mock-up testing to support design decisions for future protective liner systems.
